Alaska Day 4

Day 4 was once again a great day for riding.  I (Dave) had to say goodbye to my father and set out to meet the rest of the crew to depart at 8:00 AM.  I took this chance to introduce my riding partners to some of the finer things in life that you can only get in Evansville.  They had some Lics ice cream and donut bank creme filled long johns.  I believe that they fully enjoyed each delicacy.  We covered 404 mile and arrived in Springfield MO.  We secured a hotel and proceeded to Lambert's Cafe for dinner.  This is the famed home of the throwed rolls.  John and I have both been there before but it was Larry's first time.  The food was good as always and the guys even got a chance to catch some hot rolls.  We returned to the room to sleep it off and get ready to move on to Tulsa and Wing Ding in the morning.

  1. I've seen that restaurant on food network. Rick and Shelly want some hot rolls... yum, is it dinner time yet?
